Morah Hilary
I am thrilled to be entering my second year at Tamim as the First Grade General Studies teacher and the Second Grade Judaic Studies teacher!
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Child Study & Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto.
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, valued, and inspired. I strive to create a classroom culture where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are seen as part of the learning process, and each child’s unique voice and strengths are celebrated.
In my Judaic Studies classroom, I aim to nurture a deep love for Torah, mitzvot, and Jewish life. I want our students to feel proud of their Jewish identity and to see Judaism as something personal, joyful, and meaningful. Through interactive learning, tefillah, and meaningful classroom traditions, I hope to pass on the values of kindness, respect, community, and a lifelong connection to Hashem.
