Registration – Returning Student

Tuition & Fees (Returning Students)

Introduction

Below is a complete breakdown of tuition, fees, and financial policies for returning students for the 2026/2027 school year. We are committed to transparency and clarity as your family prepares for the year ahead.

Tuition (2026/2027)

  • JK/SK: $8,000 per year, per child
  • Grade 1–6: $18,000 per year, per child

Registration Fee

  • $425 due upon re-enrollment
  • Refunded only if your child is not accepted
  • Not refundable if the family withdraws after re-enrolling

Refund Policy

  • Before August 15, 2026: Full tuition refund minus registration fee
  • After August 15, 2026: One month’s tuition is non-refundable

School Scholarships

Tuition assistance is available for families who need it. We are committed to ensuring that no child is turned away due to a family’s financial constraints. However, Tamim Academy has limited funds, and assistance will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Tamim scholarships are processed through the UJA portal. Tamim Academy uses the UJA portal solely as a processing tool; we do not receive any funding from UJA. All scholarships are funded directly by Tamim Academy of York Region.

Additional Mandatory Fees

Book Fee – $120

This fee covers workbooks, textbooks, and curriculum materials used throughout the school year.

Security Fee – TBD

Supports schoolwide security measures, including staff, systems, and protocols. Final fee will be shared closer to the school year.

Before & After Care

Tamim Academy offers flexible extended care options for families who need coverage outside of regular school hours.

Early Care (7:30–8:30 AM)

A calm, supervised environment to begin the day.
Annual fee: $1,000

Before Care (8:00–8:30 AM)

A shorter early drop-off option.
Annual fee: $500

After Care (3:45–5:30 PM)

Supervised play, activities, and homework support at the end of the school day.
Annual fee: $1,750

Frequently Asked Questions

What classes will you open for the 2026/2027 school year?

Tamim Academy will open JK, SK, and Grades 1–6.
JK/SK will include children born in 2020 and 2021.

Tamim will not receive CWELCC funding. Families requiring CWELCC support may consider:

  • Gan Shalom (JK Program)
  • Torah Tots (JK Program)
