My name is Leah Kravitz.

Since I remember myself, I wanted to be a teacher!

After being in the Israeli army I decided to immigrate to Canada with broken English.

I knew that I had to study English since my plan was to become a teacher. I was lucky to find a Jewish college that was offering a teaching certificate! After graduating, my English got much better and I completed a bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies. I have taught over 30 years and love it!

This experience allowed me to interact with and support children with various abilities in their lessons and activities. As an enthusiastic teacher, I’m dedicated to enabling growing young minds to achieve their goals. I’m confident my experience and teaching style can make me an asset to our Tamim School.
