I’m thrilled to join the Tamim Academy of York Region team this year, where I’ll support the Grades 1 and 2 classroom as an Educational Assistant and serve as the teacher for Grade 1 Science and Social Studies. I hold a Master of Arts in Child Study & Education from the University of Toronto, I’m an Ontario Certified Teacher, and have an Additional Qualification in Special Education. With a particular passion for Social-Emotional Learning, my teaching philosophy centers on creating a classroom where students feel safe, valued, and inspired, nurturing their confidence and love of learning along the way. Outside the classroom, you’ll likely find me curled up with a good book, painting, or going for a run. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead at Tamim Academy!
